Township of Bedminster

Project Status (as of July 14, 2021)
The Township of Bedminster has been actively engaged in an annual state approved Reassessment Program. One of the requirements of the Reassessment Program is to inspect approximately 20% of all properties within the Township each year. The inspection program is intended to ensure that each of the properties in the Township will be inspected approximately every 5 years. This allows our office to verify and update the property data in our files, allowing for an equitable assessment base for every property owner.

The Township has entered into a contract with Appraisal Systems Inc. to assist in the inspection process. With respect to personal security, each inspector will be wearing an I.D. badge approved by the Assessorís office. Please make sure they have this badge!

In the near future, an inspector will visit your property to conduct both an exterior and interior inspection; your cooperation is appreciated. If at that time you are not available, the inspector will complete the exterior inspection and leave a note with a contact phone number so an appointment can be set for the interior inspection. If you have a gated (unlocked) yard and do not want us to enter it, please call 201-493-8530 immediately to schedule an inspection appointment. If the second notification fails, we will follow with a third notice.
