Project Status (as of December 7, 2018)
The Bergen County Board of Taxation and the New Jersey Division of Taxation has authorized Moonachie to undertake the annual Reassessment Program beginning with the tax year 2016 and continuing through 2020. This program will ensure uniform and equitable assessments throughout the municipality, account for the recent changes in the real estate market and significantly reduce the costly tax appeals experienced in the past. The Borough has contracted Appraisal Systems, Inc. to assist in conducting the Reassessment Program.

Value letters will begin to be mailed on December 7, 2018.

If you wish to request a copy of your property record card for your review, please email moonachie@asinj.com. Please allow 24 to 48 hours to receive your property record card.
