RevaluationCity of Bayonne
Project Status (as of February 27, 2019)
The City of Bayonne has been ordered by the Hudson County Board of Taxation and the New Jersey Division of Taxation to perform a revaluation program to be implemented for tax year 2020. The revaluation will ensure uniform and equitable assessments throughout the municipality and account for the recent changes in the real estate market. The City has entered into a contract with Appraisal Systems, Inc. to conduct the revaluation program.
Value letters are being mailed beginning Wednesday, February 6, 2020. Please refer to the information in your letter to arrange a one-on-one meeting with a representative to discuss the proposed 2020 assessment. Please call 201-493-8530 with any questions.
